ADS（アステロイド・デザート・ソングス）、スマーフ男組での活動を経て、DJとしては国内外の数多くのアーチストDJ達との共演やサポートを経ながら、日本全国の個性溢れる様々な場所で日々フレッシュでユニークなジャンルを横断したイマジナリーな音楽世界を探求している。自身のプロジェクトSOMETHING ABOUTよりMIXCDの新たな提案を試みたサウンドスケープなミックス「SOMETHING IN THE AIR」シリーズ、悪魔の沼での活動などDJミックスを中心にオリジナル楽曲、リミックスなど意欲作も多数。音と音楽にまつわる様々な空間でBGM選曲等、幅広く活動している。近年は国内外でも精力的に活動の幅を広げている。

Compuma is a Tokyo-based DJ whose extensive knowledge of obscure and leftfield music across different regions of the world has established him as one of the most respected record buyers in Japan.He began his DJ music career in the early 1990s, and after being a member of the experimental alternative electro/hip-hop group “Asteroid Desert Songs” and “Smurphies’ Fearless Bunch”, he is currently exploring new musical worlds every day as a DJ, including activities as a DJ trio “Akuma no numa”, while playing alongside various artists in Japan and abroad.
