サウンドクリエーター／DJ。選曲・ミキシングにおけるセンス、サウンドプロダクションにおける才能が海外でも高く評価されている。1980年代前半、映画『ワイルド・スタイル』に衝撃を受け、ヒップホップDJの道へ。1992年からソロ活動を本格的に開始し、日本で初めてターンテーブルを楽器として操るDJとして注目を浴びる。1994年に1stアルバム『KRUSH』をリリース。2026年発表の最新作『TOKYØHUM』を含む14枚のソロ・アルバムのほか、1枚のMIXアルバム、2枚のセルフリミックス・アルバムをリリースしている。
約30年にわたり国内外で精力的にDJ公演を行い、英国最大級の音楽フェスティバル、グラストンベリー（イギリス）をはじめ、コーチェラ（アメリカ）、モントルー・ジャズ・フェスティバル（スイス）、ソナー（スペイン）、ロスキレ（デンマーク）など、世界各国200以上の音楽フェスティバルに出演。多岐にわたり高い評価を得続けるインターナショナル・アーティストとして、世界を舞台に独自の軌跡を刻み続けている。

Sound creator and DJ. His distinctive sense of music selection and mixing, together with his exceptional talent for sound production, has earned him international acclaim. Inspired by the film “Wild Style,” he entered the world of hip-hop DJing in the early 1980s. He began his solo career in earnest in 1992, gaining recognition as the first DJ in Japan to masterfully use the turntable as a musical instrument.
Following the release of his debut album “KRUSH” in 1994, he has released 14 solo albums—including his latest work, “TOKYØHUM,” released in 2026—as well as one mix album and two self-remix albums.
For more than 30 years, DJ KRUSH has performed extensively throughout Japan and around the world. He has appeared at over 200 music festivals, including Glastonbury Festival (UK), Coachella (USA), Montreux Jazz Festival (Switzerland), Sónar (Spain), and Roskilde Festival (Denmark). Continuing to receive international acclaim across a wide range of fields, DJ KRUSH remains a truly global artist, forging his own unique path on the world stage.
