オーストリア・ウィーンの至宝。 マンマシン・テクノ・バンド・Elektro Guzziが待望の来日。 Elektro Guzziは、2004年ウィーンで結成、ドラムのBernhard Breuer、 ギターのBernhard Hammer、ベースのJakob Schneidewindから成るス リーピースバンドである。2010年、ベルリンの奇才Stefan Goldmannによる レーベルMacroよりファーストアルバム『Elektro Guzzi』をリリース。本作は、 Patrick Pulsingerがプロデュース、オール生演奏 によるミニマル・テクノ／ハウ ス作品として注目を集めた。このファースト・アルバムから、今年リリースされた 『Triangle』に至るまで、ライブ・アルバムを含めてアルバム10作品をリリース。 作品ごとに実験的精神とアイデアを存分に注入し、独自の進化をとげ、唯一 無二のマンマシン・テクノ・バンドとして常に注目を集めるレジェンド的存在と なっている。ミニマルテクノ／ハウスのアルバムやシングル作品を、あたかもDJがプレイするように、見事に構築・演奏するライブは、クラブ／ライブ・イベントを 問わず支持を集め、現在までに、Berghain、Fabric をはじめとした著名クラブ／ラ イブハウスや、Sónar、Mutek 等々のビッグ・フェスティバルなどに出演、世界30ヵ国以上でプレイしている。
