ソロアーティストとしてのMesakのディスコグラフィーは多岐にわたり、Klakson、Orson Records、Dum Recordsといったリスペクトされる一流レーベルから作品をリリースしている。また、伝説のエレクトロデュオ、Mr Velcro Fastenerのメンバーとしても非常によく知られており、Imatran Voimaと共に2000年代初頭のフィンランドのエレクトロ・サウンドを定義づけた。ノルウェーのシンガー、Erlend Øyeとのデュオプロジェクト Star You Star Me でもコラボレーションしたMesakは、ハウスミュージックの分野にも進出、Force Tracks、Slip ’n’ Slide Blue、Kickin Recordsといったレーベルから楽曲をリリースした。また、Perttu Häkkinenらと共にスカンジナビア・スクウィー・ムーブメントを創設し、中心人物としても活躍している。近年では、アゼルバイジャンのシンガー、Zuzu Zakariaと共にワールドビート・アヴァンギャルド・ポップ・プロジェクトYa Tosibaで活躍している。

スタジオワーク以外にも、Mesak はダイナミックなライブ・パフォーマーであり、ハードウェア機材を基本としたライブセットで常に進化を続け広範囲にツアーを行っている。また、サブ・アンダーグラウンド・レーベル「Huge Bass」と「Harmönia Records」を主宰し、自身の作品だけでなく他のアーティストの作品もリリースしている。

Mesak (Tatu Metsätähti) hails from Turku, the birthplace of modern Finnish electronic music, and now resides in Helsinki. He has enjoyed a two-decade-plus career in some of the most fascinating nooks and crannies of the Finnish scene, from clubs to galleries and in various groups as well as a solo act.

As a solo artist, Mesak’s discography is as diverse as it is extensive, with releases on respected labels like Klakson, Orson Records, and Dum Records. Perhaps best known for being one half of the legendary electro-duo Mr Velcro Fastener, he, alongside Imatran Voima, defined the Finnish electro sound of the early 2000s. Collaborating with Norwegian singer Erlend Øye in another duo project , Mesak ventured into house music, releasing tracks on labels like Force Tracks, Slip ’n’ Slide Blue, and Kickin Records. He was also a pivotal figure in the Scandinavian skweee movement, co-founding it with Perttu Häkkinen, among others. More recently, Mesak has been active with the worldbeat avant-pop project Ya Tosiba with the Azerbaijani singer Zuzu Zakaria.

Beyond studio work, Mesak is a dynamic live performer, touring extensively with his constantly evolving, hardware-based live sets. He is also the founder of the sub-underground labels Huge Bass and Harmönia Records, where he releases his own music and that of other artists.

Jürgen Vonbank is a member and resident artist of the Salzburg club culture collective vierundvierzig. His productions, which have been released on international labels, straddle the border between experimental electronics and advanced club music. He has been running his own label Night Defined Recordings since 2014, on which he released his debut album Trial & Eros in 2018 and his second album The Blue Soul in 2023.
In addition to his work as a producer, DJ and live musician, he ran the record shop Minerva Records from 2016 to 2022, founded the Salzburg Club Commission in 2021 and took over the renowned Jazzit Musik Club in Salzburg as artistic director and managing director in 2023.

Șerb (Șerban Ilicevici) is a music producer and performer based in Bucharest, Romania. Hailing from the DIY scene in Craiova he has been part of the band Nihilistic and post rock duo Semiosis, playing two European tours with the first and releasing two full length albums with the latter.
After spending his formative years in Craiova as a musician and DIY event organizer, he moved to Bucharest where he co-founded the listen2me record label, releasing his first solo EP Transient Recs 1. The EP was well received and he was contacted by Jurgen Vonbank of Night Defined Recordings and Cosmin TRG of Fizic to produce releases on their labels, his contact with Vonbank generating a long term collaboration with him and the label. His latest album, Short-Term Emotional Memory Loss is released on Beach Buddies Records, a Romanian avantgarde label.
With a career in professional sound engineering that spans over 15 years, his artistic work revolves around live performance and live recording both on a practical as well as a philosophical level.
He is also part of the band Bastos and Bun Comun studio collective.

Irene Kafedarova aka Rova lives in Salzburg and has been a leading force in the collective and cultural association Klubkulturklub vierundvierzig (formerly Freakadelle) for the past eight years. She is also a founding member of the Salzburg Club Commission and co-ran the record store Minerva Records together with Jürgen Vonbank

During its existence from 2016 to 2022, Minerva Records established itself as an institution and important meeting point for music enthusiasts and became known for its diversity of genres, carefully curated selection, and numerous “in-store” as well as “out-store” events. Even after the store closed, the name “Minerva Records” still stands as a hallmark of quality in music and DJ culture, which Kafedarova and Vonbank continue to cultivate through monthly events at the Jazzit Music Club, with the aim of promoting, educating, and diversifying the music scene in Salzburg. Kafedarova is also involved in Vonbank’s own label, Night Defined Recordings, which has established itself as a bridge between the Austrian scene of advanced electronic music and international artists and their communities.
As a board member and resident DJ at Klubkulturklub vierundvierzig (formerly Freakadelle), Kafedarova has been tirelessly committed to the development of the local electronic music scene for eight years. The association’s core activities include running its own music label, organizing regular events, maintaining a studio space, producing an online radio show, and offering workshops. Kafedarova enthusiastically shares her knowledge of music and technology with participants in the DJ workshops and, through her years of dedication and experience, has become a valuable point of contact for the local music community. As Rova, her musical mission in the electronic realm is to introduce listeners to music beyond the mainstream and, above all, to break down genre boundaries by revealing parallels and influences from various musical styles.

My Secret Playgroundの立役者、フロリアン・ヘルツベルクは、故郷ウィーンに幾度となく惹かれる。古き栄光と虚栄、そして楽観と停滞の精神が同居する街。現在ベルリンを拠点とするこのプロデューサーは、これらの特異性をエレクトロと現代的な80年代サウンドに融合させ、作品に表現している。うねるアグレッシブなビートは、広がりのあるシンセとストリングスに置き換えられ、力強いキックドラムはノスタルジックなボーカルラインとボコーダーと組み合わされ、21世紀へと飛躍し、My Secret Playground に独自の現代的なインディー・ダンス・サウンドを与えている。

A BERLIN MELANGE
Again and again Florian Herzberg – the mastermind behind My Secret Playground – is drawn to his hometown Vienna. A city full of old glory and vanity, a spirit of optimism and standstill in the same way. On his releases the now Berlin-based producer combines these peculiarities in Electro and modern sounding 80s tracks. Rolling aggressive beats are replaced by broad synths and strings. Pounding kick drums paired with nostalgic vocal lines and vocoders make the leap into the 21st century and give My Secret Playgrounds an own contemporary Indie Dance sound.

For more than a decade Florian has been based out of Berlin; in the German capital, he has not only found his unique musical voice – but emotional solidity within his greatest passion.
2014 he launched his live music project ‘My Secret Session’, an event where DJs and musicians improvise live together to dance music. Through this session he was able to shape the unique organic sound width of My Secret Playground and also work with the best musicians in town. Since then Florian has been performing internationally as a DJ and with his band, creating a variety of sounds that sets him apart from the rest.

His track „Wir Tanzen“ on Rabotat Records, combined with the viral video during Quarantine 2020, followed by his EP „Fears of Tears„, on Melopee Records, pushed My Secret Playground to a wider audience. His latest releases have all made it into the Beatport Indie Charts Top100. His latest tracks have been released on Jeahmon! and Sincopat.

Since 2022 Florian organizes the hedonistic Party Theme Whipped Cream – a colorful dance soiree with artists like Freundthal, Vlad Yaki, Bizzarro Universe or Myrddin.

様々なユニットを経て、2003年より関西を中心に活動を開始。テクノ、ハードミニマルのサウンドにアナログシンセ、ヴォーカル、メタルパーカッション等のライブパフォーマンスをおこない話題を集めてきたが、2014年よりシンセ・ニューウェイヴをコンセプトにキーボーディストのメンバーを加え、完全ヴォーカルスタイルの新生BODILとして活動を開始。現在まで、月数本のライブをコンスタントに休むことなく行っている。
2017年7月には、LIQUIDROOM13周年で電気グルーヴのオープニングアクトを務めた。2021年、レーベルTransmission KyotoからHölle und Himmel (TMDG001) をデジタル・リリース。2022年秋には、フルアルバム『KÖRPERKOMPLEX』を Rote Lippen Kyotoからリリースしている。

90年代より関西を中心に本格的に音楽活動を開始。現在、主に、Live PA /Djとして活動中。2007年、チャートで上位を獲得し、ロングラン・ヒットを記録したカナダのレーベル・DirtyWorksからリリースされたアルバム”Calling of Amon”をかわきりにコンスタントに楽曲をリリース。そして、2011年より主宰Vinyl レーベル・Transit Records Kyotoをス タートさせた。ファースト・リリースとして、デトロイトのレジェンドDJの一人、Terrence Parkerの作品を、2013年にはレーベルの第2弾として、自身の作品”Transit EP” (Tagtrumer Remix収録)(TR-001)をリリースした。2015年には、Hiroshi Watanabe氏とのカップリングEP “The Bridge of Sounds EP”(TR-003)、2016年には、ベルリンのアーティストBee Lincolnとともに”Transition EP”(TR-004)、2017年6月、ベルリンの名門レーベルLebensfreudeのGunneとZuckermannのリミックスを収録た”Without End Hour EP(TR-005)”をリリース、Tyree CooperやGene FarrisといったレジェンドDj達からサポートを受けた。

2011年から現在に至るまで、計10回のドイツでのDJツアーを行い、テクノ・ミニマル系最高峰クラブのTresor.Berlinをはじめ、Wilde Renate、GoldenGate、Cookies、Ipse Berlin, Chalet等々、ベルリンの主要クラブに出演の他、フランクフルト、ハンブルグ、マンハイム等のクラブ、ハイデルベルク郊外の千人規模の山頂でのフェス等、幅広く出演している。さらに、2018年から毎年、オーストリアでもプレイし、ウィーン、グラーツ、リンツで公演している。こういった日本とドイツでの活動を通じ、ドイツのラジオ局に注目され、2014年、南西ドイツ放送(Südwestrundfunk)のプログラムで、自身とTransit Records Kyotoが取り上げられ約30分の番組として放送された。 2018年1月、名門レーベルTrenton Records主宰ReynoldのRemixを収録した”The Phase at Midnight EP”(TR-006)をリリース。2000 and Oneをはじめとした著名アーティストから高い評価を得ている。 そして、2020年 ”Journey in My Head” (TRDG004)、2021年 “String Vibrates” (TRDG005)、2024年5月 “Time to Rise High” (TRDG007)、同年8月には Hiroshi Watanabe とのカップリングEP “The Bridge of Sounds 2″をリリースしている。2025年2月には、シングル “An Entire Sky”(3曲収録)をリリース。

Ryoma is a track maker and DJ who is well known in the Japanese underground. He started his career as a musician in the early 90’s. He has had a lot of experience in a variety of underground bands as a guitarist and vocalist. He then started to participate in the club music scene playing live and DJing, and was nominated as a finalist of the Roland Groove Competition in 2000. He currently plays an active part in the Kansai scene, playing live and DJing in Kyoto and Osaka, and organizing the locally famous event Undermine at Kyoto’s legendary Club Metro. His strong livesets have an excellent reputation and he has played with prolific domestic and international artists including Juan Atkins aka Model 500, Underground Resistance, Jeff Mills, Carl Craig, Terrence Parker, Laurent Garnier, Stefan Goldmann, Elektro Guzzi, Gunne&Zuckermann, DJ3000, Rennie Foster, Hiroshi Watanabe aka Kaito, Edward, Oskar Offermann and many more.

In 2009 he started to run his own record shop “Transit Records Kyoto” and as of next year started to run his own label, Transit Records Kyoto. The first release was Detroit legend Terrence Parker’s “Beautiful Life” with Ryoma’s remix and another Kyoto artist DJ Itoi (Ken’ichi Itoi). And the second release was his own title “Transit EP” including the remix by Tagträumer² (Black Fox Music/Rauschzeit). After it, He released Stefan Goldmann’s brilliant track “Empty Suit” for the 3rd release. The 4th release was the coupling EP with Hiroshi Watanabe (Kompakt/Transmat) and 5th release was the coupling EP with Bee Lincoln. In 2017, the 6th vinyl “Ryoma Sasaki – Without End Hour EP” including Gunne, Zuckermann’s remixes was released. It got the good supports from famous great Djs like Tyree Cooper and Gene Farris. Now the label is preparing Ryoma’s new work for the 8th vinyl release.

Until now, he did the Germany tour 10 times, and started Austria tour in 2018: played at many clubs: Tresor. Berlin, Wilde Renate, Golden Gate, Chalet, Cassiopeia, ipse.Berlin, Paloma, Molox Club, Mikz, Crack Bellmer, Silbergold, Café Koz, Konfuzius Franz, Kraniche Bei Den Elbbruecken, Kurzbar, Kaprowbar, Villa Nachttanz, Rhiz (Vienna), Schlot (Linz) etc…

Ouchi-S is a DJ who performs mainly in Kyoto and Osaka. He started his career as Funk DJ in 2010, playing mainly funk,soul and jazz music of the 60’s 70’s. He participated in a Kyoto’s prominent deep funk party『FUNK78』at that time. As he advanced in DJ’ing, he made a commitment to build his career by playing house music like detroit house, deep house and tech house.
