パリを拠点とするDJ兼プロデューサーのHugo LXは、ダウンテンポなビートからソウルフルなエレクトロニック・ダンス・ミュージックまで、幅広い音楽世界を繰り広げている。過去5年間で20作以上の作品をリリースし、絶えず拡大し続ける、有機的でありながらもエレクトロニックな音楽のスペクトルを紡ぎ続けている。

彼の最も注目すべきダンス・ミュージック作品——名門レーベルNDATLからNYの音楽界の巨匠DJ SpinnaとのコラボレーションEP2作、MCDE RecordingsやMona Musiqueからのシングル数作、そしてSatoshi Tomiie、Rick Wade、Karizma、Black Loopsといった著名アーティストへの数多くのリミックス——は、現在のエレクトロニック・サウンドスケープにおいて彼に特別な地位をもたらした。

日本のダンスミュージックシーンと密接な関わりを持つ彼は、Kuniyuki Takahashiと共にパリでの「Japan Connection Festival」のキュレーションを手がける一方、自身のヒップホップやアンビエント作品の制作も続けてきた。

現在、ヒューゴは2026年にリリース予定の2枚のフルアルバムと、レーベル「Yoyaku Chapelle XIV」向けのダンスナンバー数曲の制作に取り組んでいる。

Hugo LX is a Paris-based DJ and Producer whose music cruises from downtempo beats to soulful electronic dance music. With no less than two dozens of releases in the last 5 years, he keeps on weaving a constantly expanding, ever organic, yet electronic musical spectrum.

His most notable dance outputs – A pair of EPs with NY revered music master DJ Spinna on the prestigious NDATL imprint, a couple of singles for MCDE Recordings and Mona Musique, and numerous remixes for lluminaries such as Satoshi Tomiie, Rick Wade, Karizma or Black Loops – got him a special place in the current electronic soundscape.

Closely associated to the japanese dance music scene, he has been curating the Japan Connection Festival in Paris, alongside Kuniyuki Takahashi, while he also continued working on his hip-hop and ambiant catalogues.

Hugo is currently working on two long players to be released in 2026, and a couple of dance numbers for Yoyaku Chapelle XIV imprint.

パリ出身のテオ・テレヴは、2007年からシーンを牽引し、ダンスフロアを沸かせてきた。『Mamie’s』の共同創設者として、パリのアンダーグラウンド・ミュージック・カルチャーの発展に重要な役割を果たし、『Macki Music Festival』の立ち上げを支援したり、『La Ferme Du Bonheur』でのイベントをキュレーションしたりしたほか、後に香港で『Shi Fu Miz Festival』を共同設立し、アジアへと活動を拡大させた。

しかし、何よりもテオはDJである。深く幅広い音楽的センスを持つ熱心なレコード・ディガーとして、長年にわたり世界中でツアーを行い、コルシカ・スタジオ、レックス・クラブ、リキッドルーム、ラズマタズといった名だたるクラブでプレイしてきた。2019年からは「You’re A Melody」のレジデントを務め、Melodies Internationaのダンスフロアに独自の選曲をもたらしている。

テオにとってDJとは、つながり、場の空気を読み取り、そのエネルギーを吸収し、そのまま返すことだ。それは瞬間を共有し、人々を踊らせ、ダンスフロアを活気づけ続けることなのだ。

Originally from Paris, Theo Terev has been shaping scenes and moving dancefloors since 2007. As a co-founder of Mamie’s, he played a key role in pushingParis’ underground music culture forward, helping launch Macki Music Festival, curating events at La Ferme Du Bonheur, and later expanding into Asia by co-founding Shi Fu Miz Festival in Hong Kong.

But at the core of it all, Theo is a DJ first. A dedicated digger with a deep, eclectic taste, he’s spent years touring internationally and playing at clubbing institutions like Corsica Studios, Rex Club, Liquidroom, and Razzmatazz. Since 2019, he’s been a resident at You’re A Melody, bringing his unique selections to Melodies International’s dancefloors.

For Theo, DJing is all about connection, reading the room, feeding off the energy, and giving it right back. It’s about sharing moments, making people move, and keeping the dancefloor alive.

Dance Music Recordのバイヤーとしてキャリアを積む傍らDJ活動をスタートした後イギリスへ渡英。帰国後イギリスのオンライン・レコー ドストア、Juno Recordsの日本支部を7年間務めた後、京都へ拠点を移す。近年では精力的に海外へ活動の幅を広げ、’19には香港でのShi Fu Miz Festivalにて”BoilerRoom”への出演も果たす。’20年よりJazzy Sport Kyoto、’21年よりイタリアのSounds Familiarに所属。京都拠点のクリエイティヴ・チーム、Kyoto Jazzy Creative Councilのメンバーとしても活動中。
